The sounds of swing and silence of telegrams
Participants learn about the music and sacrifice of the famous Big Band leader Glenn Miller by playing/listening to his famous song, Pennsylvania 6500, using a 1940s phone, and actually using typewriters to type a Western Union Telegram.

A Soldiers life
Going through a WWII soldier's footlocker to do a scavenger hunt to find out about his life using letters home and other artifacts to connect with a real soldier from WWII.

When Baseball went to war
Participants learn about the sacrifices of famous players who gave up their professional careers to serve their nation. Participants get to keep their own replica MLB baseball card.

Her war too; women and wwii
Participants learn about the role of women in WWII. Additionally, this station offers a chance to try on uniforms and equipment for the era for a terrific selfie opportunity!

code talkers and secret messages
Participants use “Pigpen Cipher codes and a telegraph machine to send coded messages. Participants get to try to send "Morse-coded” messages too.
