An experiential hands on presentation for community and school/service organizations. Attendees will handle artifacts and learn about the leadership, sacrifice, unity, and social changes brought about during WWII. All will remember that “Freedom is not free.”

Greatest Generation Education has two presentation options and an activity booklet to fill out, the WWII jeep is included for both options.

Program 1

Experience WWII: Participants will have five hands-on learning centers where they will participate in recording their findings in a WWII-era style comic book as a keepsake. (Can serve up to 30 people. $500 for a two-hour session) You, as the host, need to provide a room/location large enough to fit 10-30 students and five rectangular tables for the learning stations, and the ability for the jeep to be driven up to that same location. Each learning station takes about 20 minutes. The event begins with an introduction from Mr. Anton and a lengthy moment with the WWII Jeep “Ebbets Field.”

Program 2

The WWII Encampment Experience: An outdoor WWII Encampment complete with a “Wall Tent” set up with learning stations, artifacts, and a 1944 Ford GPW jeep/WWII Paratrooper Airborne Scooter ($500 for a two-hour session). The WWII encampment is for groups of 5-15 people. You must provide a grass field location and the ability to drive the jeep onto it for setup. Each learning station takes about 20 minutes. The WWII Jeep and the large canvas tent are the focus.
